Motion capture is at the heart of our production workflow, turning performances into animation efficiently and reliably. We collaborate with studios at every stage to ensure smooth sessions, clear communication, and results that integrate perfectly into existing pipelines.
Motion Capture Setup & Capabilities
Our motion capture stage is equipped with a 30-camera Vicon system, delivering sub-millimeter tracking precision across a 5×9×4 m active capture volume. This setup supports multi-actor sessions, complex choreography, and detailed prop interaction while maintaining stable, interference-free data.
To complement body capture, we operate four head-mounted cameras (HMCs) for high-quality facial performance recording and a virtual camera rig for real-time scene framing and director visualization. Our workflow supports live streaming directly to Unreal Engine and MotionBuilder, allowing directors, animators, and clients to monitor takes as they happen and make creative decisions in real time.
Studio Environment & Production Workflow
The studio is designed around efficiency and comfort, from fast actor prep and calibration to real-time supervision and playback. Our crew works closely with visiting teams to translate creative direction into reliable performance capture, keeping sessions focused and productive.
During production, our on-site team manages setup, calibration, and live visualization, ensuring a smooth process from actor prep to final take. Once capture wraps, all data is processed, retargeted, and delivered as engine-ready assets (FBX) for immediate use in production.
